Saltshouse Haven Care Home

Saltshouse Haven Care Home based in Hull can accommodate up to 150 residents requiring nursing, dementia or residential care. Our home promotes hospitality, care, comfort and dignity.

We enjoy partaking in activities at Saltshouse Haven Care Home, organised by our Activities Coordinator. Included in activities are visits from entertainers & musicians, art & craft activities, sing-along, reminiscing sessions, therapeutic gardening and relaxation sessions.

At Saltshouse Haven we have a hairdresser visit every week, a chiropodist every 6 weeks and communions are held once a month for those who would like to participate. Residents can have their eye tests carried out at our home and we can arrange visits to the dentist.

All of our residents have their own bedroom which they are encouraged to make their own. All rooms come equipped with electric profiling beds and furnishings. Should a new resident wish to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.

Our weekly costs greatly depend upon the extent of the individual's care requirements which will be determined by a Care Assessment carried out by our Home Manager. To find out whether we are able to accept Local Authority funded residents, please do give us a call to discuss further.
