Waterbeach Lodge

Waterbeach Lodge is a striking purpose-built care home set on the A10 Ely Road in the peaceful village of Waterbeach, less than six miles from Cambridge city centre. Positioned within six acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, the home stands in an area rich in history. The site first hosted a building in 1818 and later became a Convent for Nuns of the Carmelite Order in the early twentieth century. After a period of varied uses and eventual disuse during the late twentieth century, the property was sensitively rebuilt to create the welcoming and contemporary Waterbeach Lodge that residents enjoy today. Its location places the home within easy reach of Cambridge while preserving the serenity of rural Cambridgeshire.

Unlike traditional clinical settings, Waterbeach Lodge focuses on a "hotel-style" aesthetic within a "home-from-home" atmosphere, with light-filled communal areas and accessible architecture that encourages social interaction and relaxation.
