Ridgeway Lodge is a thoughtfully designed care home located in a quiet residential area in the heart of Dunstable. We specialise in providing residential and residential dementia care for individuals aged 65 and older. Our skilled staff is equipped to support a variety of care needs, including those related to strokes, hearing loss, heart disease, frailty, vision impairment, and incontinence. Whether you require convalescent care, ongoing support, or short-term respite care, we are dedicated to assisting you and your family.

Our welcoming care home features 61 tastefully decorated bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities, a call bell, Wi-Fi, a TV point, and furniture. Assisted bathrooms are also available. We encourage residents at Ridgeway Lodge to bring some of their personal belongings and small furnishings from home to help them settle into their new surroundings.

Ridgeway Lodge boasts various inviting communal spaces to encourage relaxation and social interaction. These include spacious lounges, well-appointed dining rooms, an activities room, a quiet room, a pub, a sensory room and a sunny conservatory. The home also features a hair salon and kitchenette, while outdoor areas like the sensory garden and patio provide calm and accessible spaces to enjoy fresh air and natural surroundings.

At Ridgeway Lodge, our vibrant Wellbeing Coordinator organises diverse engaging activities tailored to our residents’ interests. From tending to our lovely gardens and baking delightful treats to exploring arts and crafts, playing board games, and enjoying visits from local music performers, there’s always something happening. We actively engage with the local community, frequently hosting events that bring everyone together in celebration and camaraderie.

Mealtimes are an essential part of the day at Ridgeway Lodge; our talented culinary team prepares three nutritious meals a day, a mid-morning snack, and afternoon tea. Where possible, we use locally sourced fresh seasonal ingredients. We love celebrating special occasions at Ridgeway Lodge, such as birthdays, and our Chefs will always impress with delicious spreads and cakes!
