We encourage residents to personalise their space with cherished items, creating a comforting "home away from home."

Elmwood House boasts various inviting communal spaces to encourage relaxation and social interaction. These include spacious lounges, well-appointed dining rooms, a sunny conservatory, a cafe. The home also features a hair salon and kitchenette, while outdoor areas like the garden and patio provide calm and accessible spaces to enjoy fresh air and natural surroundings.

At Elmwood House, our vibrant Wellbeing Coordinator organises diverse engaging activities tailored to our residents’ interests. From tending to our lovely gardens and baking delightful treats to exploring arts and crafts, playing board games, and enjoying visits from local music performers, there’s always something happening. We actively engage with the local community, frequently hosting events that bring everyone together in celebration and camaraderie.

Mealtimes are an essential part of the day at Elmwood House; our talented culinary team prepare three nutritious meals a day, a mid-morning snack, and afternoon tea. Where possible, we use locally sourced fresh seasonal ingredients to prepare the meals. We love celebrating special occasions at Elmwood House, such as birthdays, and our Chefs will always impress with delicious spreads and cakes!
