Avocet House Care Home in Boston is a purpose-built care home which opened its doors in Nov 2020. The home is able to support up to 66 residents with residential care.
Here at Avocet House, we boast state of the art facilities such as a garden room, cinema, hair salon, bar, garden and tea room and a variety of lounges which are designed to suit people who enjoy socialising and participating in our action-packed activities rota as well as those who enjoy quieter activities.
We encourage residents to make full use of the shared areas and they are encouraged to personalise their bedrooms to their heart's content. It is important that their bedrooms are a space that they feel fully settled and comfortable in.
Before becoming a resident at Avocet House, our Management Team will have met the prospective resident and conducted a Care Needs Assessment. This initial assessment enables the Care Home Manager to put a Care Plan in place and order any particular equipment ahead of the resident moving into the home.
