The Herons

Providing residence to 39 individuals requiring residential care, The Herons Care Home is small and homely with a lovely community feel. We are able to support people with long-term, short-term, and day care at The Herons in the peaceful cul-de-sac setting on Calverton Close in Toton, near Nottingham. The home is conveniently positioned for visiting family and friends, being easily accessible from the A52, and just a short distance from Attenborough Nature Centre.

Residents are very welcome to make use of shared areas at The Herons including lounges, the dining room and outdoor areas. Residents are also encouraged to personalise their en-suite bedrooms to their heart's content. It is imperative that their bedrooms are a space that they feel fully settled and comfortable in.

We enjoy mealtimes at The Herons which involves savoury delicious food cooked with love by our chef. We are able to cater for all kinds of dietary needs from gluten intolerance to vegetarian diets. Residents always have the choice of 2 meal options. Refreshments are available throughout the day for residents and any visitors.

Our caring team are on hand 24/7 to offer just the right amount of care for each resident, giving those who need it support with activities such as bathing, dressing and mealtimes.
