The Chestnuts is a modern, purpose-built registered care home in Aylesbury for 64 older people. The home is able to accommodate and support up to 32 residents with a higher level of support need, specifically those living with dementia.
Residents at The Chestnuts enjoy a welcoming and social environment where they can choose to participate in a range of activities and events. The spacious lounges are perfect for residents to sit and relax, socialise or watch television. The grounds and gardens are accessible for residents and visitors alike.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstone of daily life at The Chestnuts. We place importance on protecting residents meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.
We encourage our residents to partake in the daily activities programme at The Chestnuts. Activities are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. If you’ve been a keen cook or gardener all your life we see no reason for this to change and our care staff will be on hand to support you.
