Each resident has their own bedroom, which they are encouraged to personalise. All rooms are equipped with electric profiling beds and furnishings. If a new resident wishes to bring their own furniture, we will do our best to accommodate this, provided it meets health and safety regulations.
We encourage our residents to enjoy our comfortable communal areas, including lounges, dining areas, a café, and our sunny conservatory—a particularly lovely space during the summer!
At Byron House Care Home, we offer a wide range of activities for our residents, including movie nights in our cosy cinema room, visits to our hair salon for pampering sessions, summer BBQs with friends and family, and gardening in our vegetable patch.
Before a new resident joins Byron House, our management team conducts a care needs assessment. This assessment enables the Care Home Manager to create a comprehensive care plan and arrange for any necessary special equipment prior to the resident's move-in.
