Rosewood Care Home

Rosewood Care Home in Greenhithe, Kent provides respite, residential and specialist dementia care for elderly residents with a range of healthcare requirements. Our excellent care team liaises closely with healthcare professionals and is on hand twenty-four hours a day to provide the highest level of care within a caring and person-centred environment.

Rosewood Care Home is located in Greenhithe, close to Bluewater Shopping Centre with transport services and local shops nearby. We welcome frequent visits from families wishing to see their loved ones and there is a visitors' parking area on-site so family and friends can drop by whenever they wish. The home has many bright, spacious areas for residents to relax or socialise with friends and relatives including a patio and flower garden where residents can enjoy the changing seasons.

All residents have private rooms, many of which have their own television and phone points. We have three double rooms to support couples. We encourage residents to personalise their rooms so they feel fully settled and comfortable. The rooms are tastefully decorated and requests for personal items of furniture can be accommodated subject to passing health and safety regulations. Small, well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement with the manager.

Our dedicated activities coordinator organises a range of activities in the home tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new, along with outings, in-house parties and entertainment. The social programme includes group and one to one activities for both morning and afternoon.

Rosewood Care Home specialises in freshly cooked, seasonal, tasty food with plenty of choices and special dietary needs are catered. Our Home Chefs prepares all meals for residents on-site and regularly update the menus to tempt even the smallest of appetites. The highest level of care embracing independence, choice, privacy, dignity and respect is the whole team’s absolute goal.

The weekly cost of care is subject to an initial care assessment. We may accept residents who are funded by the Local Authority but this will be under our Manager's discretion.
