Preswylfa Nursing Home

Preswylfa is a privately owned service that is registered for both nursing and elderly care, with a seventy-bed capacity meaning it makes a vital contribution to healthcare in Rhyl and surrounding areas.

All of our residents have their own bedroom which they are encouraged to make their own. All rooms come equipped with electric profiling beds and furnishings. Should a new resident wish to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.

Before becoming a resident at Preswylfa Nursing Home our Management Team will have met the prospective resident and conducted a Care Needs Assessment. This initial assessment allows the Care Home Manager to put a full Care Plan in place and order any special equipment ahead of the resident moving into the home.

Good nutrition and hydration are an important part of staying well as we age. Preswylfa Nursing Home is able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.
