Canterbury House

Canterbury House Nursing Home is situated in the seaside town of Rhyl, close to the splendour of the Snowdonia National Park.

We support residents with a dementia diagnosis in a comfortable, supportive and reassuring environment. The Home has three floors, with 52 single bedrooms, 45 of which are en-suite. There is an enclosed garden to the rear and ample parking to the front of the home. We benefit from a superb location, with beaches on one side and rolling countryside on the other.

We provide individualised care and support in a manner that we believe will best contribute to the well-being and comfort of our residents. Before becoming a resident at Canterbury House our Management Team will have met the prospective resident and conducted a Care Needs Assessment. This initial assessment allows the Care Home Manager to put a full Care Plan in place and order any special equipment ahead of the resident moving into the home.

We aim to provide a holistic approach to the care we provide. We know how important diet is, so we serve nutritious and attractive food.

If you've been granted funding from Continuing Healthcare (CHC) funding, we will be able to support you at Canterbury House because we are a registered nursing home. Our cost per week greatly depends upon the complexity of a prospective residents care needs which will be determined by a Care Needs Assessment. We are able to support individuals with a wide range of care requirements including end of life care and respite care.
