Perry Locks is a beautiful care home located in a peaceful area of Birmingham. It is dedicated to supporting older individuals with a range of needs. Our committed team offers both long-term and short-term residential care, as well as specialised services such as dementia care, nursing care, convalescent care, and day care. We also cater to specific requirements related to health challenges, including stroke recovery, diabetes, and incontinence.

Our care home features 128 well-appointed bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities, TV points, Wi-Fi access, and full wheelchair accessibility, ensuring maximum comfort for our residents. Common areas include cosy sitting rooms, inviting dining spaces, a conservatory, a pub, and kitchenettes, all designed to create a homely atmosphere. Additionally, residents can enjoy a hairdressing salon, a quiet room, wet rooms, and a lovely landscaped garden that many residents participate in maintaining.

At Perry Locks, each resident receives a personalised care plan tailored to their preferences, medical conditions, and dietary needs. Our compassionate team goes beyond basic care by considering personal likes, religious beliefs, and family recommendations, helping to foster a warm environment that promotes a sense of belonging. We also allow residents to bring pets, subject to arrangement.

Our Wellbeing Coordinators organise meetings for the Social Committee and maintain a weekly events calendar featuring clubs, discussions, and performances by local talent. Residents can participate in various activities, including gardening, baking, singing, quizzes, and arts and crafts. We also host community events, such as coffee mornings, for residents and their families. For outings, we provide a minibus for day trips to nearby attractions like garden centres, cafes, and parks.

Mealtimes play a crucial role in the daily routine at Perry Locks. Our talented culinary team prepares three nutritious meals each day, along with a mid-morning snack and afternoon tea. Whenever possible, we use locally sourced, fresh seasonal ingredients. We love celebrating special occasions, such as birthdays, and our chefs always impress with delicious spreads and cakes!
