Greenhill Care Home

Greenhill Care Home is a purpose-built, single-storey care home located in Crickhowell, Powys, providing dedicated care and support for older people living with dementia. The home is close to shops and a bus route. Conveniently, the local GP surgery is situated just across the road.

At Greenhill, we specialise in person-centred dementia care and welcome residents for both long-term and short-term stays depending on their requirements. We pride ourselves on creating a "home from home" feel, where everyone who walks through the door feels welcome and safe.

Each of our 22 bedrooms is spacious and features en-suite facilities, as well as a TV and telephone point to help our residents stay connected. Many of the bedrooms also boast a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside.

In our beautiful, secure gardens, you'll find potted plants, beautiful rose bushes, and accessible pathways where residents can take a gentle stroll with visiting friends and family. We also have some dedicated smoking areas for those who wish to use them.

We encourage our residents to make use of our communal dining rooms and lounges, which are perfect for socialising and participating in our engaging activities. Residents also enjoy spending time in the hair salon, where they receive a pampering or have their nails painted.

Our activities team is responsible for putting together a fun and engaging calendar of activities for our residents. We take the time to get to know each resident, including their likes, dislikes, and unique interests, so that we can ensure there are activities for everyone to enjoy. We often enjoy visits from local entertainers and host events, such as summer fetes and parties, to celebrate special occasions like birthdays.

At Greenhill, we have fostered strong connections with the local Crickhowell community, including schools that frequently visit to entertain residents.
