Bloomfield Care Home

Located near Bath and Bristol, Bloomfield is a purpose-built residential care home providing 24-hour nursing care, dementia care and respite care for frail older people. Care at our home is based on detailed assessments and care plans, which cover areas like life history, likes and dislikes, spiritual and religious needs and all aspects of personal daily living needs.

We provide specialist support for individuals living with dementia in our bespoke Memory Lane Community, where care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person centered approach. We have also invested in a 'Magic Table' for our home, an interactive light projector designed to support people living with dementia through mentally and physically stimulating games.

Activities are key to the residents wellbeing and as such we believe in providing a wide range of daily activities to ensure our residents are engaged, active and celebrating life here at Bloomfield. Whether a resident enjoys art, live music, gardening, flower arranging or trips out, it is all undertaken to ensure our resident’s time here is enjoyable and relaxing.

It is our philosophy that Bloomfield exists for the people we support, and life does not stop because the individual needs care.

Our Head Chef leads a team of kitchen staff in providing residents with healthy, balanced and tasty meals. Residents can enjoy mealtimes in the dining room with other residents, or in the privacy of their own room. Menus are planned with the residents and if nothing on the main menu tickles your fancy that day, then there is always a ‘light bites’ menu to choose from.
