Alexandra Nursing Home in Tywyn, Gwynedd, North Wales offers day care, respite, residential and nursing care to residents with a range of healthcare requirements. Alexandra Nursing Home is located in Tywyn on the beautiful northwest coast of Wales, 200 yards from the promenade and within easy reach of local shops, amenities and transport services. The home has several comfortable areas for residents to relax with family and friends including a lounge, conservatory and secure well-maintained gardens with outdoor seating where residents can take in the changing seasons and coastal air. The home’s location also means that residents can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding Snowdonia National Park.

All residents have their own rooms with individual televisions. We can support couples and residents are encouraged to personalise their bedrooms with cherished possessions. Requests for small items of furniture can be accommodated subject to passing health and safety regulations. Small, well-behaved pets are welcome by prior agreement with the manager.

Activities form an important part of the day with a varied programme of options to support and encourage personal interests such as crafting, keeping fit, and quizzes. Our home specialises in fresh, seasonal, tasty food offering plenty of choices and catering for all dietary requirements.
