Lammermuir House Care Home

You'll find Lammermuir House Care Home in the historic town of Dunbar, East Lothian. Here, our experienced team of care staff provides person-centred care, 24 hours a day. We have excellent working relationships with local GP's, pharmacists, chiropodists and more.

Ours is a bright, spacious purpose-built home, opened by the Queen in 1986. We're surrounded by mature, accessible gardens which allow residents to enjoy the sea air and potter among the raised beds. A raised walkway enables beautiful views.

We have four floors, meaning our sitting rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms also look out over the sea. All our en-suite bedrooms are singles, linked to nurse-call and fire-detection systems, and decorated and personalised as their residents choose.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstones of daily life at Lammermuir House Care Home. We place importance on protecting residents meal times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.

Providing exemplary dementia and end of life care, Lammermuir nursing home's weekly costs are dependant upon a person's level of care needs but start from £1,100 per week and will be determined by a Care Assessment carried out by the Home Manager.
