Castle Keep Care Home

Castle Keep Care Home is one of three Barchester care homes nestled together in Sutton Village, Hull. Each home supports people with specialist care needs, here at Castle Keep Care Home we can support a maximum of 49 elderly people with nursing or dementia care needs.

All residents have their own bedroom which is fully furnished and decorated to a high standard. Well behaved pets are welcomed at Castle Keep Care Home - just because you are moving home doesn’t mean your pet can’t move too! We support all our residents with personalised care which is tailored to their specific needs and wishes. For people living on our nursing suite, they are supported 24/7 by both trained Nurses and Care Assistants.

Residents with dementia are supported with specialist care in our ‘Memory Lane Community’. ‘Dementia friendly’ living environments are proven to have a positive effect on the well-being of people with dementia. Our Memory Lane Community includes reminisce rooms, sensory stimulation, wide corridors and appropriate lighting. Staff and family members are supported with ongoing training in-line with dementia research advancements.

Individual dietary requirements and tastes are accounted for and the Chef’s welcome feedback from the residents! An example lunch-time menu would include a choice of soup or salad for starters, a meat or fish main course and a choice of delicious desserts.

Activities form an integral part of life at Castle Keep Care Home; our Activities Coordinator works hard to ensure that activities are accessible and provide enjoyment for all.

Castle Keep in Hull base their weekly fees on the unique care needs of the person requiring care. We recommend that you contact us to arrange a Care Assessment with our Manager which will enable us to provide a weekly cost indication.
