Victoria House Nursing Home

Victoria House is a specialised care home located in a peaceful residential area near Stockton-on-Tees. It focuses on residential, nursing, dementia, and dementia nursing care for elderly individuals. The compassionate team is prepared to assist with a variety of care needs, including stroke recovery, diabetes management, incontinence, hearing loss, frailty, heart issues, and vision problems. Whether you're seeking convalescent, post-operative, long-term, or respite care, Victoria House is ready to welcome you with open arms.

The expansive residence boasts 70 bright and cosy en-suite bedrooms. Each room at Victoria House is equipped with call bells and a TV point. Residents are encouraged to customise their bedrooms and bring small personal furnishings to help them settle in. We're also pleased to accommodate residents' beloved pets, subject to arrangement.

Victoria House offers spacious communal areas, including several dining rooms and lounges, a loved family room, kitchenettes for refreshments, a hair salon for pampering, a large landscaped garden featuring a sensory area and patio, and a peaceful room ideal for reading or knitting. A designated smoking area is also available. Designed with accessibility in mind, the home features wheelchair-friendly facilities and a lift to the upper floor.

At Victoria House, our dedicated chef team prepares fresh meals for residents using locally sourced ingredients whenever feasible. Residents can choose to dine in the communal areas or in the comfort of their own bedrooms. We have designated mealtimes, with residents enjoying three meals a day, along with a mid-morning snack and afternoon tea. We also encourage residents to take part in menu planning and frequently solicit any special requests.

Victoria House features a minibus that is ideal for trips to local attractions like parks, coffee shops, and garden centres. The Wellbeing Coordinator at the home makes sure the weekly events schedule is packed with talks, demonstrations, and performances by local artists. Residents engage in activities such as gardening, singing, gentle exercises, arts and crafts, and much more!
