Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by adding personal items, creating a more comforting atmosphere.
The Oakes Care Centre provides shared amenities, including modern sitting rooms and dining areas, a sun lounge, a hair salon, a café, a cinema room, a tearoom, a nail bar, a quiet lounge, and kitchenettes ideal for refreshments throughout the day. The beautifully landscaped garden and patio feature flowerbeds and seating areas where residents can enjoy nature. Additionally, there is a quiet room designed for relaxation. The layout emphasises accessibility, incorporating wheelchair-friendly elements throughout the facility, such as a lift and specialised assisted baths in the bathrooms. All communal areas and bedrooms are wheelchair accessible, and the presence of a lift enhances convenience for residents with physical disabilities and mobility concerns.
At The Oakes Care Centre, our dedicated culinary team prepares fresh meals for residents, emphasising locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Residents can dine in communal areas or in the comfort of their own rooms. We ensure protected mealtimes by serving three meals daily, a mid-morning snack, and afternoon tea.
