We are privileged to support 40 people with residential and dementia care at The Meadow care home in Muswell Hill.
The Meadow is committed to providing alternative therapies such as music therapy to our residents, whilst investing in new technology like our interactive 'magic tables', robotic pets and HUG dolls. We believe that these therapies help to alleviate feelings of isolation, a common symptom of those living with dementia.
We encourage residents to take part in the daily activities calendar. Activities are adapted to the interests of our residents whilst we also offer something new for them to enjoy. If you’ve been a keen cook or gardener, we see no reason for this to change and will involve residents where we can.
Good nutrition and hydration play a crucial role in keeping well as we age. The Meadow supports people with a variety of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Our home chefs do their best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and sweet treats are always provided to celebrate special occasions.
