The Chestnuts is registered by CQC as a 20 bedded home and is divided into three smaller homes.
Each of the units has it's own lounge / diner and kitchen which allows the residents to participate in the preparation of their meals and also in cookery sessions.
Each of the residents' bedrooms has been designed with privacy, comfort and individuality in mind. Residents are encouraged to decorate and furnish their room as 'my space' with their own personal effects and choice of décor.
There is a comprehensive range of assisted bathing and showering facilities and tracking or portable hoists are utilised throughout the home.
Residents are supported to participate in domestic activities within the home and a fully equipped laundry is available for them to do their personal laundry.
