At St James’ Park, we have an array of spacious and welcoming communal areas where our residents can relax, socialise, and dine. These include comfortable sitting rooms, a lovely dining room, an activities room, a quiet room, and a delightful landscaped garden and patio, which is the perfect spot to entertain visiting friends and family. Some of our green-thumbed residents enjoy looking after the gardens. All areas of the care home have been thoughtfully designed to be wheelchair accessible.

We are fortunate to have an excellent Wellbeing Coordinator at St James' Park, who is responsible for organising our residents' weekly activities calendar. The calendar often includes visits from local community groups and performers, talks, and seasonal events. Residents are involved in planning the activities schedule, and we always welcome their suggestions.

Mealtimes are a massive part of the day at St James' Park Care Home. Our talented culinary team works exceptionally hard to deliver nutritious and delicious meals for our residents. We consider and cater to all dietary requirements, religious preferences, and personal likes and dislikes. Where possible, we use fresh, locally sourced ingredients to prepare our meals.
