The home boasts a variety of communal areas, including cosy sitting rooms, inviting dining areas and a conservatory, all fostering a homely atmosphere. Residents also enjoy access to a hair salon, a quiet room, a hobby room, and a beautifully maintained garden and patio, which many residents help to look after themselves.

At Shelton Lock, our vibrant Wellbeing Coordinator organises diverse engaging activities tailored to our residents’ interests. From tending to our lovely gardens and baking delightful treats to exploring arts and crafts, playing board games, and enjoying visits from local music performers, there’s always something happening. We actively engage with the local community, frequently hosting events that bring everyone together in celebration and camaraderie.

Mealtimes are an essential part of the day at Shelton Lock; our talented culinary team prepare three nutritious meals a day, a mid-morning snack, and afternoon tea. Where possible, we use locally sourced fresh seasonal ingredients to prepare the meals.
