Our Wellbeing Coordinators organise meetings for the Social Committee and ensure that the weekly events calendar includes clubs, discussions, and performances by local talent, such as dancers, magicians, and singers. Residents can participate in activities such as gardening, baking, singing, quizzes, and arts and crafts. We also arrange regular community events for residents, their families, friends, and neighbours, including coffee mornings. Additionally, we have a minibus to take residents on day trips to nearby attractions like garden centres, cafes, and parks for leisurely strolls.

At Rievaulx House, our dedicated culinary team focuses on preparing fresh meals for residents using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Residents can choose to dine in communal areas or enjoy their meals in the comfort of their own rooms. We provide three meals each day, along with a mid-morning snack and afternoon tea, all following a set schedule. We encourage residents to participate in menu planning to reflect their personal preferences. Our experienced chefs accommodate all dietary needs, individual tastes, religious considerations, and input from friends and family.
