Rendlesham Care Centre

Rendlesham Care Centre offers state of the art residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 60 elderly people.

Located by Rendlesham Forest in Suffolk, this is one of our newest developments providing care and support in a purpose built, modern care facility. The care centre comprises three self-contained communities in one location, retaining a real sense of smaller scale homely living with the added benefit of easy adaptation to meet residents’ changing care needs.

We are ideally equipped to provide residential support for elderly people living with different types of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia and Korsacoff’s syndrome.

We operate 'The Stirling' to dementia care which ensures that residents are able to move freely around the home, with bedrooms and communal areas appropriately laid out and clearly signposted to minimise confusion or disorientation. Each bedroom features a memory box by its front door, where mementos from a resident’s life help to personalise their room and also remind staff and visitors of the individual’s life story.

A highlight of the home and a big hit with our residents is the ‘Forget Me Not’ garden, specially designed to provide a safe and stimulating environment for elderly residents living with a form of dementia.
