Quarry Hall, nestled in the peaceful residential area of St Mellons just outside of Cardiff, provides a nurturing haven for older adults with residential, residential dementia, nursing, and nursing dementia care needs who require long-term care. Our skilled care team is adept at supporting individuals with various conditions, including strokes, diabetes, incontinence, hearing and vision impairments, frailty, and heart disease.

With 86 well-appointed bedrooms, each featuring en-suite facilities, a TV point, Wi-Fi access, and full wheelchair accessibility, Quarry Hall in St Mellons ensures comfort and convenience for every resident.

Having recently undergone a significant investment and refurbishment programme, Quarry Hall boasts a variety of communal areas, including six cosy sitting rooms, five inviting dining areas, and a kitchenette, all of which foster a homely atmosphere. Residents also enjoy access to a hairdressing salon, a quiet room, a cinema room, a pub, a tea room, a memory room and a beautifully maintained enclosed landscaped garden and patio, which many residents help to look after.

Our activities program, orchestrated by our dedicated Wellbeing Coordinator, is vibrant and full of life. We rotate diverse activities, including stimulating quizzes, delightful baking sessions, and therapeutic gardening. We often invite local community groups, talented performers, and enthusiastic volunteers to enrich the lives of our residents through shared experiences and companionship.

Mealtimes are an essential part of the day at Quarry Hall; our talented culinary team prepare three nutritious meals a day, a mid-morning snack, and afternoon tea. Where possible, we use locally sourced fresh seasonal ingredients to prepare the meals. We love celebrating special occasions at Quarry Hall, such as birthdays, and our Chefs will always impress with delicious spreads and cakes!
