Based in Scarborough just a short walk from the seafront, Priceholme Care Home supports 32 older people with residential care. As well as long-term care, we also offer day care and respite care services.
At Priceholme Care Home, we have a lovely family-orientated approach and each of our residents have a dedicated key worker who works closely with them. This allows us to really get to know all of our residents including what their likes and dislikes are. Furthermore, this approach ensures that our residents care plans are kept up to date as their care requirements evolve.
We make sure that we keep our residents entertained at Priceholme with a fun-packed activities schedule. Several of our resident favourites include coffee mornings, baking, flower arranging, bible studies and church services with our dedicated Chaplain. We also arrange regular day trips for our residents including trips to Peasholm Park and local garden centres.
Priceholme Care home receives visits from a hairdresser, dentist, optician and chiropodist, but if residents prefer to go out there are always plenty of volunteers to provide escorts to town, which is only 15-minutes away.
