Muscliff Nursing Home

Purpose-built in 1997, Muscliff Nursing Home in the Muscliff suburb of Bournemouth in Dorset was created to meet the evolving needs of its residents and to provide a warm, homely environment for older people who require personalised care. Every room includes tasteful furnishings, en-suite facilities, and specialist nursing equipment such as tracking hoists and profiling beds. Several rooms have recently been upgraded with contemporary wet rooms. Residents are welcome to bring small pieces of furniture and personal ornaments so that their private rooms feel familiar and individual.

The home in Bournemouth features two hydrotherapy bathrooms, spacious communal lounges, and a welcoming dining room that encourages sociable mealtimes. The secure landscaped gardens are a highlight, with a peaceful pond and many attractive seating areas. Muscliff Nursing Home also offers a sensory room and a Tovertafel interactive game table that residents can use alongside staff or visiting family members. Four portable sensory units enable less mobile residents to enjoy therapeutic activities within their own rooms. Additional facilities include an in-house hairdressing salon, along with convenient shopping and library services.

Muscliff Nursing Home’s Nursing Team provides skilled support for residents living with dementia as well as those with a wide range of physical health needs. The team’s clinical expertise ensures that care can adapt as individual needs change, including one-to-one support when required. The Activities Team enriches life within the Bournemouth community by offering varied opportunities for cooking, crafts, gardening, pet therapy, excursions to local attractions, countryside walks, and shopping trips across Dorset.
