Miranda House

Miranda House is a modern purpose-built home providing specialist nursing and dementia care support for up to 65 elderly residents in the heart of the historic Wiltshire town of Royal Wootton Bassett.

The Miranda House care home in Wiltshire delivers specialist care of the highest standard both inside and outside. The secure gardens provide a tranquil haven and there is a dedicated activities centre where residents are able to participate in a wide range of pursuits.

Miranda House is ideally equipped to provide residential support for elderly people living with different types of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia and Korsakoff’s syndrome. However, staff never lose sight of the fact that, first and foremost, Miranda House is home to our residents. The home has a light, airy and welcoming ambience and residents benefit from a broad and stimulating range of activities.

The home offers a full range of residential, nursing and dementia care support, including trial stays, short stay and convalescent care, as well as long-term care. Residents are encouraged to bring important personal possessions to personalise their rooms. Miranda House operates an open visiting policy, where residents and loved ones may visit at convenient times. In common with all of our homes, Miranda House’s manager has a qualified nursing background.
