Welcome to Grosvenor Manor; a lovely and luxurious care home located in the historic city of Chester. Grosvenor Manor is a purpose-built 81 bed ‘new generation’ care facility that has been expertly designed to meet all current CQC requirements and provides the highest standards of safety, comfort and care. The care home offers residential, nursing and specialist dementia care.

Internally, the attention to detail is impressive. The high specification and décor of Grosvenor Manor have been carefully considered by an interior designer, creating stylish yet comfortable and practical spaces for residents to enjoy.

Arranged over two floors, the facilities at Grosvenor Manor are exceptional, with each floor enjoying its own communal lounges and restaurants. All bedrooms boast en suite wet rooms, and there is also a spa assisted bathroom, hairdresser & nail bar. There are beautiful, mature gardens and outside seating areas at Grosvenor Manor along with extensive terrace areas to the first floor.

In line with our care philosophy at Grosvenor Manor, we have a “Magic” table or “Tovertafel” in the dementia community. There is significant literature on the positive effects on dementia of play. From our observations, the impact of the “Magic Table” is extremely positive for residents living with dementia. Residents and their relatives alike can play freely on the “Magic Table”. In addition, this is a particularly useful opportunity for involving children to experience positive play with their older relatives. New Care is one of a small group of providers who are leading the way in the UK, by purchasing the “Magic” table as part of our overarching strategy to provide opportunities for our residents living with dementia and their relatives to have fun together.
