Dormy House care home with nursing offers residential, nursing, dementia and palliative care for up to 88 elderly residents including trial stays, respite breaks and convalescent care as well as long term care.
The Surrey is a modern purpose built extension that provides dedicated dementia care. Residents are able to move freely around The Surrey, with bedrooms and communal areas appropriately laid out and clearly signposted to minimise confusion or disorientation. Each bedroom features a memory box by its front door, where mementos from a resident’s life help to personalise their room and also remind staff and visitors of the individual’s life story.
Dormy House was originally built in the 1930's as a grand family residence, our care home in Sunningdale has been sympathetically converted to ensure the charm and character remain whilst providing the very highest standards of care in a home of distinction.
The home is located in one of the most sought after residential areas in Sunningdale, adjacent to the world renowned Golf Course and with views over the Ladies’ Course.
