Chocolate Works Care Home

Chocolate Works in York is a unique care home set within a beautifully restored, historic building. Once the headquarters of Terry’s Chocolate factory, the building was transformed in 2017 into the warm and welcoming care home it is today.

Known as a ‘home for life’, the dedicated team provides a range of personalised care services, including residential, nursing and dementia care.

The iconic building centres around a bright and spacious atrium; this light-filled space features a reminiscence-style Terry’s chocolate shop, Duke of York pub and shop. Other amenities include a cinema room, cosy lounges and a hair and beauty salon. Residents can choose from a stunning collection of en-suite bedrooms, including some suitable for couples.

Chocolate Works is currently undergoing refurbishment to create an even more modern and comfortable environment for residents.
