Riverside Place

Riverside Place in Ware, Hertfordshire is a new luxury offering, delivering the best in residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as respite and convalescent care, for up to 72 residents.

Our stunning new care home is built to the latest care standards and living here is all about luxury, comfort and choice. As soon as you set foot inside Riverside Place, you’ll be impressed by the light, space and quality of the home. There are many different enticing spaces to relax in – from the bistro on the ground floor and rooftop orangery, to the quiet lounges dotted around the home.

There are beautiful dining rooms, laid out with small tables as in a restaurant. To create a sense of occasion, tables are beautifully laid with crisp table linen and shining glassware. If your loved one would like a glass of wine with their meal, they just need to let us know. Residents are free to eat in their room if they prefer, and if they find they’re peckish between meals, there are always snacks and drinks available.

At Riverside Place, each day is full of fun and fulfilling experiences. Your loved one decides how they want to spend their day, and we help to make it happen. We have a dedicated Wellbeing Coordinator whose job it is to plan and organise rewarding and enjoyable activities, outings and entertainment, all based around residents’ interests. We understand that residents like to continue to look their best, so our hair salon is open regularly for beauty treatments and pamper sessions.

Riverside Place is walking distance into Ware town centre, with its priory, gardens and museum. Those residents who are able, are welcome to pop into town to do some shopping or enjoy lunch in a pub or café. We’re also planning to get out and about as often as we can to explore the local nature reserves and wildlife parks, to go boating on the river or even head into London for a theatre trip.
