Ashurst Mews Care Home

Ashurst Mews Care Home is situated just outside Northampton in the village of Moulton and was rated in September 2019 by the Care and Quality Commission as being Outstanding. We offer residential, nursing and dementia care and like to involve all our residents in every aspect of home life, make new friends and even take up new hobbies. After all, you’re never too old for something new.

We have a lovely garden that surrounds the home and is wheelchair accessible, of course. Sitting out in the sunshine and admiring the roses when the weather is fine always raises our spirits. Our interiors are beautifully designed and allow plenty of room for all sorts of activities, socialising, or just for sitting quietly, if you prefer. Our cinema room is very popular, with those good old musicals firm favourites.

We like residents to personalise their bedrooms, which all have walk-in showers and flat-screen TVs. Housekeepers see that they are always kept in order – the rooms that are, not the residents!

Family and friends are urged to come and visit as often as they like and get themselves as involved as their loved ones. The better the communication, the better the care. Come and enjoy an afternoon matinée in our cinema with us; we’ve even got the popcorn.

If you have assets below £23,250, you may be eligible for funding support from your local authority to help fund your care. At Ashurst Mews, our weekly rates are subject to a Care Assessment which will be carried out by our Home Manager to assess your or your loved ones care requirements. We are pleased to be able to support a range of care types including dementia care, respite care and end of life care.
