Appleby Grange, nestled in the charming town of Appleby-in-Westmorland, proudly offers compassionate care for both older and younger adults. We provide exceptional residential and nursing care, accommodating up to 29 residents for both permanent and short-term respite stays.

Our devoted team is committed to delivering high-quality support for individuals living with various conditions, including dementia, Parkinson's disease, COPD, mental health challenges, and acquired brain injuries. We are also specifically trained to assist those requiring stroke and bariatric care.

Each resident enjoys their own private bedroom, which we encourage them to personalise, creating a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Our rooms are equipped with electric profiling beds and stylish furnishings. We are also happy to accommodate personal items of furniture, as long as they meet our health and safety regulations.

At Appleby Grange, we believe in the power of engagement and connection. That’s why we offer a vibrant daily activities program that adapts with the seasons, ensuring there is always something new and exciting to enjoy! Our activities are thoughtfully planned to align with the interests of our residents, and we are delighted to welcome community groups and schoolchildren into our home, fostering meaningful connections.

We recognise the importance of good nutrition and hydration in maintaining overall wellness as we age. Our dedicated chefs craft delicious meals catered to various dietary requirements, including specialised diets, ensuring every meal is a delightful experience.
