Allt-Y-Mynydd Nursing Home in Ty Mawr is a 44-bed nursing home supporting residents with care 24/7. The home is a historical building boasting extensive grounds amidst the Brechfa Forest. We can support residential, nursing, residential dementia and respite care at Allt-Y-Mynydd.

All of the bedrooms are comfortably furnished and have vanity unit facilities. Many of the rooms also have their own en-suite providing our residents with privacy. Each bedroom has a nurse call system and thermostatic controlled heating.

At Allt-Y-Mynydd we have close connections with our local community including working relations with the community dietician, district nurses, diabetic nurse specialists, occupational therapists, palliative care teams, optometrists and local chiropodists.

Weekly fees at Allt-Y-Mynydd are dependent on care needs assessment; to find out an indicative cost please give us a call to go through your care requirements. If you have been awarded Continuing HealthCare (CHC) funding, again please give us a call to discuss how we can support you. We are able to support individuals with permanent and respite care requirements, to find out our current availability to support them please get in touch. We provide specialist dementia care, helping individuals with dementia to live well. Allt-Y-Mynydd supports individuals with end-of-life care needs both through our in-house nursing team & visits from specialist nurses, GPs and relevant healthcare professionals.
