Alexander Court

Alexander Court is a purpose-built residential home, situated in the heart of Thetford. The modern building has been designed with the needs of elderly residents in mind. All of the bedrooms are ensuite, there are communal and quiet lounges and well-maintained outdoor spaces for residents to enjoy.

Friends and family are welcome at any time, hot drinks and snacks are always available and guests are invited to share meals with residents. The resident cook prepares three nutritious meals a day and the menu changes regularly to reflect seasonal produce.

There is an outstanding activities programme designed by Alexander Court’s Activities Coordinator around the resident’s interests, including: quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, arts and crafts, baking and wherever possible trips out and about.

We encourage residents to make full use of shared areas at Alexander Court including lounges, the dining room and outdoor areas. Residents are also encouraged to personalise their bedrooms to their heart's content. It is important that their bedrooms are a space that they feel fully settled and comfortable in.

Alexander Court is a residential care home with carers on hand to support residents 24/7 with their care needs. The weekly cost of care at Alexander Court is dependant on the individual care requirements of an individual but starts at £880. We may be able to accept residents who receive funding support from their local council but this will be under the Home Manager's discretion. We are able to support a wide range of care needs & types including dementia care and short-term respite care. To enquire about our up to date availability, please give us a call.
