The home is conveniently situated near public transport links, making it easy for relatives to visit residents at Victoria Manor.

The home features 118 comfortable en-suite bedrooms, crafted to a high standard following an extensive refurbishment programme in 2021, during which many areas received a fresh look. All rooms at Victoria Manor include call bells and a TV point, with some rooms even leading onto a patio, providing residents direct access to the beautifully landscaped gardens. Residents are encouraged to personalise their bedrooms as they wish and to bring small pieces of furniture from their own homes to aid their settling in.

The communal areas of Victoria Manor feature a selection of cosy dining rooms and lounges, a conservatory that is ideal for enjoying sunny days, a hairdressing salon where residents can indulge in pampering, and a quiet room perfect for reading or knitting. The home has been purpose-built; thus, all areas are wheelchair accessible, and there is a lift to reach the upper floor.

At Victoria Manor, we have an in-house chef team that prepares fresh meals for our residents using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Residents are welcome to enjoy meals in the communal dining areas or in the comfort of their bedrooms if they prefer. We have protected mealtimes, with residents enjoying three meals a day, along with a mid-morning snack and afternoon tea. We like to involve residents in the decision-making process for the menus and regularly ask for any special requests.

Victoria Manor has a minibus, which is wonderful for outings to nearby attractions such as parks, coffee shops, and garden centres. The home's Wellbeing Coordinator makes certain that the weekly events programme is filled with talks, demonstrations, and visits from local performers. Residents partake in gardening, singing, gentle exercises, arts and crafts, and much more!
