Rosebridge Court, located three miles from the centre of Wigan in the small town of Hindley, offers long-term care in a nurturing environment for young physically disabled adults and older adults with nursing dementia care needs. Our compassionate approach ensures that residents receive the highest level of attention and warmth. Our skilled care team is experienced in supporting individuals with various conditions, including strokes, diabetes, incontinence, hearing and vision impairments, frailty, and heart disease.

Our welcoming care home features 46 tastefully decorated bedrooms, each equipped with en-suite facilities, a call bell, Wi-Fi, a TV point, and essential furniture. We encourage residents to bring personal belongings and small furnishings from home to help them adjust to their new surroundings.

Rosebridge Court includes a variety of inviting communal spaces designed to encourage relaxation and social interaction. These spaces include spacious lounges, well-appointed dining rooms, cafes, quiet rooms, a cinema room, and a hobby room, all utilised for our activities. The home also features a hair salon and a kitchenette. Additionally, outdoor areas, such as an enclosed garden with a sensory area, provide calm and accessible spaces for residents to enjoy fresh air and nature. A designated smoking area is available for those who smoke.

Our Wellbeing Coordinators organise meetings for the Social Committee and ensure that the weekly events calendar includes clubs, discussions, and performances by local talent, such as dancers, magicians, and singers. Residents can enjoy activities like gardening, baking, singing, quizzes, and arts and crafts. We also arrange regular community events for residents, their families, friends, and neighbours, including coffee mornings. Additionally, we provide a minibus service for residents on day trips to nearby attractions, such as garden centres, cafes, and parks for leisurely strolls.

Mealtimes are a vital part of the day at Rosebridge Court. Our talented culinary team prepares three nutritious meals daily, along with a mid-morning snack and afternoon tea. Whenever possible, we source fresh, locally grown seasonal ingredients for our meals. We love celebrating special occasions, such as birthdays, and our chefs take pride in creating delicious spreads and cakes!
