Opened in October 2008 it enjoys a purpose-built facility for people living with dementia and young people with physical challenges. Oaklands Care Home has well maintained internal gardens so that people can enjoy the outdoors in a safe environment. The home is set in beautiful grounds on the outskirts of Bottisham Village where we are part of a wider community.
Oaklands offers a real community feel. We've given the three different units, two memory lane and one for younger people, street names create a village feel. Each bedroom door even has its own letterbox and door knocker. The experienced and highly qualified team delivers first-class care, giving people quality support that is in a league of its own while ensuring individuals remain in control of their lives.
Working within the philosophy of true person-centred care, the care team supports everyone to make their own decisions and choices regarding daily life and social activity. We offer hairdressing facilities, a cafe-style reception area, restaurant-style dining and lovely relaxing communal areas.
