Welcome to Mugdock House, a modern and inviting care home nestled in the peaceful residential community of Bearsden! Our dedicated team is passionate about providing exceptional support to older adults with a variety of care needs, including nursing and dementia care. We proudly offer both long-term and short-term care options.

Mugdock House features 64 well-appointed en-suite bedrooms designed for resident comfort. Each room includes essential amenities such as a call bell, a TV with a DVD player, and Wi-Fi to help residents stay connected. We encourage residents to personalise their spaces with cherished items, creating a comforting "home away from home."

In 2022, Mugdock House underwent an extensive refurbishment, transforming communal areas including dining rooms, lounges, the reception area, bathrooms, kitchenettes, and corridors. Our residents enjoy spending time in our beautiful gardens and patio, with some even participating in maintaining the garden and flowerbeds. Additionally, all areas of the care home are wheelchair accessible.

Our Wellbeing Coordinators organise meetings for the Social Committee and maintain a weekly events calendar that features clubs, discussions, and performances from local talent. Residents can engage in activities like gardening, baking, singing, quizzes, and arts and crafts. We also host community events, such as coffee mornings, for residents and their families. Furthermore, we provide a minibus for day trips to nearby attractions like garden centres, cafes, and parks.

Dining at Mugdock House is a delightful experience, thanks to our talented culinary team, who diligently prepare fresh, nutritious meals with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients. Residents enjoy three wholesome meals a day, along with mid-morning snacks and afternoon tea. We celebrate special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries with joy, featuring delicious cakes and themed culinary delights crafted by our chefs.
