You'll find Carrickstone House Care Home situated at Carrickstone roundabout, in Cumbernauld, Glasgow. We are especially trained in caring for those living with dementia. Our unique approach is based on understanding dementia form the resident’s perspective, enabling us to deliver Special Resident Experiences and consistently good care everywhere.

Here our team of registered nurses, and well trained, dedicated, care staff, provides care around the clock. To meet a range of needs, we offer different levels of care, from nursing and dementia care, to palliative care and rehabilitation.

Ours is a modern, well maintained property, within easy reach of the town, public transport, and other amenities. People living here love to spend time in our pleasant gardens.

All communal rooms are light and airy. Bedrooms have en-suites and great safety features; many also enjoy garden views. We love residents to choose how they want these spaces decorated and set out, to make them more personal and homely.

Good nutrition and hydration are an important part of staying well as we age. Carrickstone House is able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Our Home Chefs do their best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and sweet treats are always provided to celebrate special occasions!

We provide specialist dementia care, helping individuals with dementia to live well. Supporting individuals with end-of-life care needs both through our in-house nursing team & visits from specialist nurses, GPs and relevant healthcare professionals.

Weekly fees at Carrickstone House are dependent on a care needs assessment; to find out an indicative cost please give us a call to go through your care requirements. If you have been awarded the Scottish equivalent of Continuing HealthCare (CHC) funding, again please give us a call to discuss how we can support.
