Our home features 41 beautifully decorated bedrooms, each equipped with en-suite facilities, a call bell, Wi-Fi, a TV point, and comfortable furnishings. We warmly encourage residents to bring personal items and small pieces of furniture from home to help create a familiar and cosy atmosphere as they settle into their new surroundings. Additionally, we are more than happy to accommodate beloved pets, ensuring that your furry companions remain close and cherished.

At Defoe Court, we offer a range of inviting communal spaces designed to foster relaxation and promote social interaction. Our spacious lounges, well-appointed dining rooms, activities room, tea room, and shop provide opportunities for residents to connect and enjoy each other's company. The home also features a hair salon and kitchenette, and our lovely enclosed garden offers a tranquil space to relish in fresh air and nature’s beauty.

Our dedicated Wellbeing Coordinators are enthusiastic about organizing engaging meetings for our Social Committee and maintaining a vibrant weekly events calendar filled with clubs, discussions, and performances from local talent. Residents can partake in a variety of activities such as gardening, baking, singing, quizzes, and arts and crafts. We also host delightful community events, including coffee mornings for residents and their families, and we provide a comfy minibus for exciting day trips to nearby attractions like garden centres, cafés, and parks.
