Facilities include a coffee lounge, residents’ kitchenette area, greenhouse and gardens so residents can do light gardening or simply enjoy the changing seasons.

All of our residents have private rooms with individual television points. We encourage residents to personalise their rooms with cherished possessions, and small pieces of furniture, subject to passing health and safety requirements, can be accommodated. Small, well-behaved pets are welcome providing they meet certain requirements and by arrangement with the manager.

Our home chefs specialise in freshly prepared, flavoursome food with plenty of choice and special dietary needs or cultural requirements are catered for. We promote mealtimes as a social occasion and the tables are laid with fresh flowers and linen but residents can choose where to have their meals. We also encourage families to join their loved ones for meals or afternoon tea anytime.

Crossways Care Home supports a culturally diverse community. Our staff do their utmost to cater to the needs of each individual and religious group and church representatives pay regular visits.

Activities at Crossways Care Home are planned around the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. Our varied social programme of group and one to one stimulating activities include quizzes, bowls, local outings and celebrations for special days and occasions.
