Buckingham Lodge

In the beautiful market town of Watton in Norfolk, close to Thetford, Buckingham Lodge is able to provide a safe and caring environment to those who need residential care, general nursing care, or nursing dementia care.

Situated close enough to local shops and on the edge of town, Buckingham Lodge is easily accessible from the A11 and A47, with a substantially sized car park for visitors. We’re also on a main bus route from Norwich.

Purpose built in 2021, Buckingham Lodge has 70 en-suite rooms with shower facilities across two floors. The bedrooms and communal areas have been decorated to a high standard, optimising style, comfort and practicality. Each room is fitted with its own television and phone point, so there’s never a reason to feel disconnected. Buckingham Lodge has an open-door visiting policy, where loved ones can visit our residents as often as they wish.

Each floor has lift access and accessibility support, to encourage residents to maintain mobility independence where they can, but support where help is needed. Wheelchair access is available throughout the home. The home offers an onsite salon, a cinema, and a cafe, with beverages and cakes to be enjoyed throughout the day. Lounges and a conservatory are the perfect place for residents to relax, socialise or partake in activities.

Stepping outside, the home has beautifully landscaped gardens and a patio area for residents to enjoy in the warmer months, and it makes a lovely setting to meet loved ones.

Buckingham Lodge, part of the Kingsley Healthcare Group, is adapted and employs specially trained care staff to be able to support our residents individual needs.
