Following a refurbishment in 2022, The Orchard features 58 well-appointed bedrooms equipped with en-suite facilities, TV points, Wi-Fi access, and full wheelchair accessibility, prioritising the comfort of our residents. The home includes communal areas such as cosy sitting rooms, inviting dining spaces, an activities room, and a cinema, all contributing to a homely atmosphere. Residents also have access to a hairdressing salon and a lovely garden that many enjoy helping to maintain.

Each resident has a personalised care plan that addresses their medical, personal, and dietary needs, as well as their preferences, likes, dislikes, religious considerations, and any suggestions from family members. This ensures that their stay with us is both comfortable and enriching.

The Orchard is vibrant with activities, thanks to our enthusiastic Wellbeing Coordinator, who curates an exciting range of engagements that cater to diverse interests. From gardening and baking delicious treats to exploring arts and crafts and enjoying board games, there is always something fun happening! Our strong ties to the local community allow us to regularly organise events that celebrate togetherness and foster connections.

Our culinary team prepares fresh meals using locally sourced ingredients. Residents can choose to dine in communal areas or in their rooms, with three meals provided daily, along with a mid-morning snack and afternoon tea. We encourage resident involvement in menu planning and accommodate all dietary needs and preferences.
