The Harefield is a specially designed care home located in the village of Harefield, Middlesex. We focus on providing nursing and dementia care for older people. Our welcoming care home features 40 elegantly furnished en-suite bedrooms, some of which are patio rooms that lead directly to the garden. Each room at The Harefield has furniture, call bells, Wi-Fi, a telephone connection, and a TV connection. Residents are encouraged to personalise their spaces with their own belongings, creating a more comforting environment. We also accommodate residents' beloved pets by arrangement.

The Harefield provides a fantastic array of shared amenities, including cosy lounges, an inviting dining area, a specific activities room for residents to engage in their interests and hobbies, a hair salon, a bright conservatory, a memory room, a nail bar, and a peaceful lounge for relaxation. Residents can enjoy the beautifully landscaped gardens and patio, which offer flowerbeds and seating areas for enjoying nature and their love for gardening. Furthermore, there is a designated smoking area. The layout prioritises accessibility, featuring wheelchair-friendly elements throughout the facility, such as a lift and specially designed assisted baths in the bathrooms. All communal spaces and bedrooms are wheelchair accessible, with the lift providing added convenience for residents dealing with physical disabilities and mobility issues.

At The Harefield, our committed culinary team crafts fresh meals for residents, emphasising locally sourced ingredients whenever feasible. Residents have the option to dine in communal areas or in the comfort of their own rooms. We ensure protected mealtimes by offering three meals daily, complementing a mid-morning snack and afternoon tea. Additionally, we encourage residents to engage in menu planning while regularly gathering their preferences. Our talented chefs cater to all dietary needs, personal preferences, religious requirements, and recommendations from friends and family.

The Lifestyle Manager guarantees that the weekly events calendar features local artists' presentations, demonstrations, and performances, including dancers, magicians, and singers. Residents can participate in a wide range of activities such as gardening, baking, singing, quizzing, and various arts and crafts. We also arrange regular minibus excursions to nearby attractions, including cafes, garden centres, and parks, and organise community events for residents along with their family, friends, and neighbours. Daily newspapers are accessible for those wishing to stay updated on current events. Additionally, residents can enjoy coffee mornings and a library service.

At The Harefield, each resident is provided with a comprehensive electronic care plan designed to meet their health, personal preferences, and care needs.
