Redmill, situated in East Whitburn, West Lothian, provides a supportive environment for older adults needing nursing and dementia care. Our compassionate team caters to recovery, long-term, and short-term care, ensuring residents receive excellent attention. We assist individuals with various conditions, including strokes, diabetes, incontinence, and heart disease.

Our welcoming care home features 68 tastefully decorated bedrooms, each equipped with en-suite facilities, a call bell, Wi-Fi, a TV point, and furniture. We also offer assisted bathrooms for those with mobility difficulties. We encourage residents at Redmill to bring personal belongings and small furnishings from home to help them settle into their new surroundings.

At Redmill, we provide a variety of spacious communal areas where residents can relax, enjoy meals, and engage in activities. These areas include lounges, a dining room, a hair salon, a quiet room, a café where we hold coffee mornings, a memory room, and an outdoor sensory area. Our residents particularly enjoy spending time in our beautifully landscaped gardens and patio, with some even participating in maintaining the garden and flowerbeds. Additionally, all areas of the care home are wheelchair accessible.

Our Wellbeing Coordinators organise meetings for the Social Committee and ensure the weekly events calendar features clubs, discussions, and local talent performances. Residents can enjoy activities like gardening, baking, singing, quizzes, and arts and crafts, as well as community events, including coffee mornings, for themselves and their families. We also offer a minibus service for day trips to nearby attractions.

At Redmill, our culinary team prepares fresh meals using locally sourced ingredients. Residents can choose to dine in communal areas or their own rooms, with three meals daily, plus mid-morning snacks and afternoon tea. We also involve residents in menu planning and accommodate all dietary needs and personal preferences.
