Highbury House Nursing Home

Highbury House Care Home is situated in the charming Sussex village of Rottingdean – just 5 miles from Brighton. The Home is ideally located, with a sea view to the front and the rolling green Downs to the rear of a large garden. We offer 24 hour care for all residents. All staff have regular in-house training, NVQ training and attend courses relevant to care of the elderly.

Highbury House has 29 single bedrooms and one double on both floors with a passenger lift to the first floor. All rooms have ensuite facilities and many of the ground floor rooms have patio areas. Highbury House has a large dining room, two lounges and an accessible garden. The garden is wheelchair assessable with well-maintained lawn, flower beds and a patio area.

Here at Highbury House we offer a wide and varied daily activities programme which changes to make the most of the Great British seasons! Daily activities are planned for both morning and afternoon which take into account the interests of our residents. We also welcome community groups and schoolchildren into our home so residents can stay connected with their local community.

Before becoming a resident at Highbury House our Management Team will have met the prospective resident and conducted a Care Needs Assessment. This initial assessment allows the Care Home Manager to put a full Care Plan in place and order any special equipment ahead of the resident moving into the home.
