Gorseway Manor Care Home in West Town, Hampshire provides person-centred respite, residential and convalescent care for residents with a range of healthcare requirements. Round the clock care is provided by our team of highly-trained Care Assistants, who liaise closely with healthcare professionals, to provide the highest level of support.

Gorseway Manor Care Home is located in West Town on Hayling Island only ten miles from Portsmouth. Our home is set in four acres of beautiful parkland opposite Hayling Island’s Blue Flag-winning beach giving many rooms wonderful views.

All residents have private, en suite rooms and we encourage personalisation to make them their own space that they feel comfortable in. The rooms include five luxury suites and shared rooms to support couples. Requests for personal items of furniture can be accommodated subject to passing health and safety regulations Small, well-behaved pets are welcome providing they meet certain requirements and by prior agreement with the manager.

Our home has many bright and spacious areas for residents to relax with friends and family including an iconic ballroom for dining or dancing, lovely landscaped gardens and a large pond with koi carp. We provide a varied social programme of indoor and outdoor groups and one to one activities tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new.

Weekly fees at Gorseway Nursing Home are dependent on a care needs assessment; to find out an indicative cost please give us a call to go through your care requirements. If you have been awarded Continuing HealthCare (CHC) funding, again please give us a call to discuss how we can support you. We are able to support individuals with permanent care requirements, to find out our current availability to support them please get in touch. We provide specialist dementia care, helping individuals with dementia to live well. Gorseway Nursing Home supports individuals with end-of-life care needs both through our in-house nursing team & visits from specialist nurses, GPs and relevant healthcare professionals.
